As a trusted building company that have prided ourselves on our excellent reputation for safe practice for over 40 years, we are delighted to announce that Dobson Building Contractors have officially been awarded Safecontractor status in 2014.
The Safecontractor Health and Safety Assessment scheme is delivered by a leading provider, dedicated to promoting the highest standards of competence and compliance with health and safety regulations, across a vast array of industries.
Health and safety is relevant to all businesses, but perhaps none so much as the building trade, and particularly in our case, given the scope and scale of the projects that we deliver day in, day out, there is nothing more important to us than knowing we have taken every possible measure to ensure the wellbeing of our team and our clients.
We have always believed in investing in people; providing training and developing skills, abilities and knowledge, which is why we have a highly motivated team that we can feel incredibly proud of.
Following news of the accreditation, Matthew Dobson, a Senior Partner in the firm commented,
“We take Health and Safety very seriously at all levels throughout our company, making sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day. All of our current and future customers can rest assured that not only do we offer an excellent service but we carry this out in the safest way possible for all.”

Dobson Building Contractors came highly recommended to us by friends and they did not disappoint.
Over a period of five weeks the kitchen was gutted, re-wired and re-plumbed.
A new concrete floor and damp proofing was laid. Walls re-plastered onto a vertical damp proof membrane and a whole new ceiling instated.
Finally we had our brand new kitchen installed and floor coverings laid.
At the end of five weeks we had a very professional job completed to our satisfaction. We’ve even had the back to re-render and waterproof our external walls.
